Aims Nonprofit Leadership Academy Scholarship Application

Scholarships are paid directly to Aims Community College and must be submitted to Weld Legacy Foundation for consideration prior to the course start date.

As part of Weld Legacy Foundation’s capacity building services and our mission to promote excellence in health and education in Weld County, we are proud to support Nonprofit Leadership Development through the Aims Nonprofit Leadership Academy.

The Aims Nonprofit Leadership Academy (NLA) supports the nonprofit sector with applied professional development leadership courses that can lead to a certificate in nonprofit leadership.

Participants can choose from three certificates. The first certificate, the Essentials Certificate, is geared towards nonprofit professionals looking to level up within nonprofits or those that are looking to break into the nonprofit sector.  The second certificate, the Leadership Certificate, is for experienced nonprofit professionals looking to further develop their leadership skills.  Alternatively, learners can choose the Professional Certificate and choose from stand-alone nonprofit leadership courses that appeal to them.

To qualify for a certification, students must take a minimum of five courses in the course of two years.

*Students do not have to choose a certificate track and can instead take classes of their choosing on their timeline.

Funding is available for full certificates as well as individual courses.

Applicant must work for an organization that has received a Flagship, Proactive or Key Funding Initiative (KFI) grant from The Weld Trust.
